CityWILD cultivates deep connections between youth and the natural world, working with them to develop their full potential and achieve their wildest dreams.
Since 1998, cityWILD has engaged in a bold effort to break down barriers to the typically exclusive world of outdoor experiential education to a broad, inclusive audience. Our comprehensive, tuition-free programs promote themes of personal empowerment, leadership, and community participation while motivating participants to reach their full potential at school, at home, and in their communities.
cityWILD’s programs engage youth in experiential learning opportunities that boldly address issues of inequity, particularly in the areas of access to the outdoors and economic disparity. cityWILD motivates participants to reach their potential at school, at home and in their communities – and they succeed!
CityWILD Adventures with Sheridan
Provide Fun, Safe, Educational Experiences
CityWILD offers a set of Platte River Rafting Trips and other outdoor activities with the goal of providing fun, safe and educational experiences for the community of Sheridan to engage with the South Platte River and other Colorado outdoor/indoor spaces.
We offer additional trips with the goal of providing access to a variety of nature-based experiences for families, youth and adults throughout the rest of the year. These trips can include, but are not limited to: hiking, camping, snowshoeing, nature-based workshops, star gazing, ice skating, paddleboarding, and rock climbing (indoor or outdoor).
