Cal-Wood has provided life changing experiences in the CO mountains more than 100,000 kids and family members. In 2020, all school and summer programs were canceled due to the pandemic. Cal-Wood has adapted our programs to serve our community, but the impact of COVID has been devastating.

Groundwork Denver is an incredibly efficient organization. Over 93% of our funding goes directly to program services, with very little spent on administrative and overhead, and volunteers account for thousands of hours per year of our work. Still, we have to pay the rent, keep the computers running, buy supplies and pay staff who have committed their careers to our mission.
